COMMUNITY HEALTH PROTECTION DIVISION
The Community Health Protection Division is a comprehensive work unit including nurses, an epidemiologist, a health planner, environmental health specialists, and support staff. These individuals are responsible for surveillance, inspection, investigation, planning, assessment and educational activities related to minimizing communicable disease and protecting public health in Clay County, Missouri.
The Community Health Protection Division does not provide medical care or vaccinations to patients. Patient and/or medical care such as vaccinations is handled by the Family Personal Health Services Division.
