Find opportunities in Clay County and around the KC metro area to get vaccinated against COVID-19. This list will be updated frequently as supply increases and more opportunities become available.

Always carefully read all the information on each of the vaccinators' websites. There may be updates or differences not reflected on this list.

  • Doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are free, no matter where you get it. Vaccination providers may charge an administration fee to insurance, Medicaid or Medicare, if applicable in your situation. Anyone not covered by insurance can still receive the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost.
  • Anyone 12 years and older is eligible to be vaccinated at this time! Missouri vaccinators can now also vaccinate people who live outside of Missouri.
  • Please refer to the information provided by each site to learn what type of vaccine is available. Those under 18 years of age can only receive the Pfizer vaccine.
  • The third, additional dose of Pfizer or Moderna is only available to those who are: 
    • Immunocompromised due to solid organ transplant and taking immune suppressing medications
    • Immunocompromised due to active treatment for solid tumor and hematologic malignancies
    • Immune compromised due to Receipt of CAR-T cell or hematopoietic stem cell transplant (within 2 years of transplantation or taking immunosuppression therapy)
    • Moderate to severe primary immunodeficiency (eg., DiGeorge, Wiskott-Aldrich Syndromes)
    • Immunocompromised due to Advanced or untreated HIV infection
    • Immunocompromised due to “Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids or other drugs that may suppress immune response: high dose corticosteroids (ie.,≥ 20 mg prednisone or equivalent per day), alkylating agents, antimetabolites, transplant-related immunosuppressive drugs, cancer chemotherapeutic agents classified as severely immunosuppressive, tumor-necrosis (TNF) blocker or other biologic agents that are immunosuppressive or immunomodulatory

Clay County Public Health Center

Vaccine appointments are available for anyone 12 years and older at the health center at 800 Haines Drive in Liberty, MO. Do not have to live in Clay County or Missouri to be eligible.

You can schedule an appointment for your first OR second dose, even if you did not receive your first dose with Clay County. However, you must bring your white vaccination card with you to your appointment and ensure you schedule for the same type of vaccine as your first.

When scheduling, make sure to use your legal name (not nicknames), as seen on your ID. Also, be sure to fill out all fields, including your date of birth. Patients 12-17 years old must bring a parent or guardian to their appointment.

CCPHC can now offer a third dose of Pfizer and Moderna but only to immunocompromised people who meet the criteria and can attest that they meet the criteria.

Mid-Continent Public Library

In partnership with Heart to Heart International and Clay County Public Health Center, vaccine clinics will be held at some Mid-Continent locations in the county.

Walk-ins are welcome. In addition to first and second doses of the vaccine, booster shots are available to those who qualify.
