Outdoor Areas & Facilities

Guidance for Step 2: July 5 - TBD

  • Parks, playgrounds, trails and other outdoor recreational areas may be open at this time if visitors can maintain physical distancing (six feet) from those they do not live with.
  • Post signage asking that anyone who is sick, does not enter any building or park. Also utilize signage to remind visitors of best practices, like physical distancing, for maintaining a safe environment. Signs can be found in the toolkit at clayhealth.com/recovery.
  • Events of more than 250 people are not allowed.
  • Property owners (municipalities, businesses, etc.) may choose to keep these areas closed or implement stricter policies, if they deem appropriate.
