Debbie Florido, MSN, RN, CCCTM, AMB-BC, serves as vice secretary on the Board of Health. She began a one-year term in April 2023.
Florido has earned an Associate of Arts in Nursing, 1986, from Johnson County Community College; Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 1999, University of Missouri - Kansas City; Master of Science in Nursing Leadership, 2016, University of Kansas. She is currently employed as a registered nurse and has been in the nursing profession in various roles for 36 years. She has management and budget experience and possesses a Master's Degree in Nursing Leadership and Informatics.
She has lived in Clay County for 23 years. She is an active member of St. James Catholic Church and serves as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She also volunteers at Liberty North High School when needed. Florido has been married to her husband for 22 years, with 5 children and 1 grandchild. She's also been a Kansas City Chiefs season ticket holder for 32 years.
