Volunteer, Internships & Job Shadowing

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Clay County Public Health Center (CCPHC). Your interest is appreciated and needed. Volunteers make a real difference in the Health Center’s ability to serve the Clay County Community more effectively and efficiently. The following is a sampling of possible volunteer opportunities:
  • Perform clerical and administrative work
  • Provide support for community outreach clinics, flu shot clinics and public health special events
  • Work as nurses, CPR instructors, translators, community educators, peer leaders and more
  • Work to protect the community in a public health emergency

Volunteer


Are you willing to volunteer at the food pantry, do admin work or help in other capacities? Complete our volunteer interest form. After submitting, you will be contacted by our volunteer coordinator.


Internships


Internships are available on a limited basis for students interested in gaining practical work experience so they can pursue public health careers. Applications received are evaluated and contact is made if an opportunity is available.
